The Autumn crisp is officially in the air, and you know what that means at MV Kiddie Town - it is finally time for one od our favorite annual tradition! This week, we traded our classroom chairs for stacks of straw and climbed aboard for our highly anticipated fall hayride. If you have ever wondered what pure, unadulterated childhood joy looks like, just picture a tractor pulling a wagon full of singing, giggling toddlers and preschoolers. From the moment our little adventurers saw the big tractor pull up, the excitement was absolutely electric. Here is a little peek into why the hayride is always the biggest highlight of our school year.

The Ultimate Sensory AdventureFor young children, a hayride isn’t just a moving seat - it is a full-body sensory experience. Our students loved feeling the bumpy rhythm of the wagon, smelling the sweet scent of fresh straw, and watching the colorful fall leaves drift down around them. It is hands-on learning at its finest, right in the heart of nature.Big Smiles and Bumpy RoadsThere is something magical about the simple bumps along the path.

Every time the wagon dipped or tilted slightly, the entire group burst into synchronous laughter. Holding hands with their buddies, our students practiced balancing, shared snacks, and pointed out every squirrel and pumpkin they saw along the way.Building Memories Together. Beyond the fresh air and fun, trips like these are incredible for social growth. Seeing our MV Kiddie Town family bond outside the classroom walls is incredibly rewarding.

The older children helped the younger ones climb up, everyone shared in the excitement, and we even started a few festive sing-alongs that echoed across the field. We came back to campus with rosy cheeks, straw in our hair, and memories that will last a lifetime. A huge thank you to our amazing staff and parent volunteers for making this day so safe and incredibly special for our little ones.
